Church Park Night

Every summer, we hold Sunday evening services at our church park.  It's a really great time of fellowship, fun and food.  Tonight was the first service of the summer.

There were sno cones...

...courtesy of Polar Pete.  :)

Greg (the guy behind Polar Pete) has a really cool vision of using Mr. Pete for some community outreach on hot summer days.

This is Gil, our Sunday School teacher and "traveling troubador".

There was an obstacle course...
(For the record, we don't normally have inflatables at our church park events.  But it made for a fun kick-off.  The kids -- and kids-at-heart -- loved it!)

...and Stacy and I got the same knee burn from racing each other.
This makes us inflatable obstacle course knee-burn twins.

Speaking of which, my inflatable obstacle course knee-burn twin and I had a great conversation while walking laps around the park tonight.  I'm very fortunate to have her as my friend.

Also, the weather could not have been more perfect!  I hope your Sunday was grand!
