Focusing on a goal this week.

One of my goals this year is to give up soda.  Like, for good.  I'm starting with a small goal of getting through this week.  Today (Monday) was day one.  And I did very well!  Yay!

But I wouldn't mind a little encouragement, if you don't mind.  Because I like the Dr. Pepper.  And the Cherry Coke.  Okay, I'm gonna stop here and think about water.

Oh, Bekka I feel your pain!!! Except my weakness is Mt. Dew and Cheerwine! Oh, I don't know how I can give up my loves, but I really want to! We'll see how that goes, but I'll encourage you if you do the same for me! So, with that said, you can do it...it's no problem!! Love, Jess

Ok- My tip is to buy a few reusable water bottles that you think you'll like, and USE them. LAst January, I wanted to start drinking more water(I would go days without it), and so I bought a few rubbermaid bottles with straws, and I drink at least 64 ounces almost every day! Fill them up at night if you need to filter the water first, put them in the fridge, then grab them in the morning and GO! :)

Well, let's see... I gave up soda (as well as ALL caffeine... unless you count dark chocolate) about 15 years ago because of heart palpitations. You can do it. You might have a headache or two during your withdrawal, but in the end it will be worth it. From everything I hear, there's really nothing worse that you can drink.

So... water, water & more water! (And a little wine never hurt! :-)
