Cracker Barrel is not safe.

...when I said I was so excited to go to one of my favorite restaurants.  That restaurant is Justix.  Well, that restaurant was Justix.  We drove there only to realize it was closed.  Apparently, they didn't pay their taxes.  Which sucks.  Because the food was good.  And served on a stick.  And pretty healthy, too.  And they had really great sauces.  I may eat all my meals on a stick this week just to honor the memory of a great restaurant.

So after receiving the sad news, Mike, Forrest, Ashley, and I sat in the parking lot and played the blackball game, where everyone gets a chance to veto the restaurants they don't want to go to, and we choose from what's left.  It took us about three minutes to decide on Cracker Barrel (which is what the four of us usually choose).

Side note:  it was really good to see Forrest and Ashley.  We hadn't seen them since just after Christmas, and yes, we live in the same town.  Ashley had gone so far as to add a photo of us to a picture of a milk carton.  We're going to work very hard to make time for them from now on, 1) because they're amazing friends and lots of fun to be around, and 2) because they threatened to hang up the milk carton picture all over town if we don't.  :)

Back to my story.  Did you know that Cracker Barrel is a death-trap just waiting to happen?  Next time you're in the store section look up.  Here's what we saw:

So many sharp, rusty things.  Really?!  Not the kind of thing that makes a girl want to stick around and shop.  :)
Stay tuned...Monday I have a fun Martin Luther King Day story to share.  My international girls might find it particularly amusing.

We usually choose Cracker Barrel cause it is close and yummie. I have always wondered what would happen if the big tricycle or the huge field plow would fall on someone.... Hmmmmm. Funny post. Have a great weekend.... 3 days off for you, too?!?
