100 joys

Today's post by Mandie is a must-read.  Today she began posting the first of 100 things that bring her joy during the month of December.  I think this is a great idea for many reasons, namely because this can be such a frustrating time of year if you allow it to be, and because I want to celebrate all the good things going on in my life right now.  The ones that I tend to overlook.  So tonight, I'll post my first two joys.  (PS - check out this post for more information about the 100Joys project.)

Joy 1: Baby pictures of Mike.  I can't help but smile (and daydream) when I look at them.

Joy 2: Angel tree giving.  Mike and I each chose a child from the angel tree at church.  I'm having lots of fun shopping for the little girl I picked - I can't wait to go to Target this week and finish up.

-------------------------------------------------------
Tonight's Christmas song is Andrea Bocelli's Adeste Fideles.  He has such an amazing voice.  It makes me think of midnight Mass on Christmas Eve.

that's a great idea! I'm particularly not a Christmas fan and this is a time of the year that I always hope will fly away fast. Maybe if I did a project like that it could help me feel better, I'm gonna check that out, thanks!!
love your first two, especially the cute baby pics ;-)
