Happy (and thankful) today

• Tomorrow I get to go into town, after being snowed in all week!
• The electricity only went out for a few minutes the other night.
• I'm looking forward to our church's couples retreat in March. It's going to be a Fireproof study led by a local fire department chaplain. With some caving and hiking thrown in.
  
• My back feels better after sledding on Wednesday.
• I made two scrapbook pages last night.
• Very thankful that my brother had a place to stay when his campus shut down. So blessed that a family was kind enough to take in a college student sight-unseen (or maybe smell-unsmelled, as he didn't have any hot water for a couple of days...)
• Fun cabin-fever inspired discussions with Mike. "Do you think tri-cornered hats will ever make a comeback?"
  
• The John Adams miniseries was very good, even for a non-history person like me. (Oh, and now the previous item kinda makes sense...)
  
• There is a chicken strip in the refrigerator with my name on it.
